What!? Why!? It was totally unexpected right after we closed on our first property. What are we going to do? How are we going to make this work? All of these thoughts were swirling through our heads. It was and still is a very harrowing experience. My job is real estate now. Trying to find deals and figure out ways to put food on the table for our kids. At the time of this writing, we just went under contract for our second property! We have several ideas about what our life is going to look like in the near future, now it’s about figuring out how to get there on one income.

Tired of the rat race and “Someday,” mindset I knew I had to make a change. The book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” came across my radar and I opened the page. I was hooked. Realizing where I was in life was not where I wanted to be and would not change without my action, I dove in headfirst. Devouring any and all information regarding real estate investing, assets, good debt vs bad debt, all my spare time was reading books, listening to podcasts and changing my mindset. Within 7 months we were putting in offers. Accepted!!! Wow this is really happening. Upon closing the unexpected happened. Stay tuned…
